Rick's Stoke of the Day: Woodward PA!

Man, Life is good. We had a ripping summer here at Woodward at Copper and I get to go for a visit to Woodward East for a few days. I had high hopes of shooting a bunch of action shots… I guess I skated too much. So here are some mostly non-action shots from Woodward East. Phoebe and I got to catch up with some old pals. The place is magic!

The green hills of Pennsylvania and some dirt jumps. The atmosphere is so thick at East you can cut it with a blade; a rollerblade!!!

We got five star lodging at Woodward East. This little crib with the famed ‘f-bowl’ right out front. Wake up, brush your teeth, and take a cruise in the F Bowl!

The new Plaza at Woodward East. The concrete around this manny pad is so smooth there is no excuse not to nose manual it EVERY time!

A detail of the Euro Gap in the new skate plaza. I’m not gonna lie. I wimped out on this gap. Some kid told me ‘you have to go really fast’. I’ll work it out next trip to East.

Nose slide in the Target Plaza. Speaking of FAST. This dude motored through the whole plaza to get the speed for this nose slide!

Lin-Z Adams Hawkins at ‘the Rock’. This was a sneak attack shot; We didn’t set it up. I’m sure if I shot it again I could make it look bigger. I don’t think Lin-z could make it any more style-e though!

Lin-Z and I are old pals. We don’t get to skate together enough. Come to Woodward at Copper!!!
