The Barn 

Woodward at Copper first opened The Barn on February 28th, 2009.  The Barn is the first indoor ski and snowboard training facility with 19,400 square feet of terrain park and pipe progression. 

The Barn is split into three zones:

Gym Cross Training Zone

  • 6 Olympic grade Flybed trampolines – three that go into Foam
  • 2 Foam pits that are 22 ft. x 22 ft. x 7ft. deep
  • Trampoline Harness System
  • 18’ Tumble Track into Foam
  • 54’ x 22’ Spring Floor
  • Tons of different foam mats for safety and training

Snowflex Zone

  • 6,200 square feet of Snowflex
  • 35 ft. tall Big Air drop-in with 3 different size jumps to foam pit landing
  • 8 ft. Snowflex Cliff to foam pit
  • Foam pit 48 ft. x 27 ft. x 7 ft. deep
  • Snowflex Jib run with 10 ft. box and 15ft. flat-down rail
  • Snowflex 10 ft. quater pipe and 7 ft. quarter pipe with log stall

 

Skate/ BMX/ Inline (skatelite) Zone

  • Huge 6 ft. to 8 ft. Skatelite Bowl
  • 4 ft. Mini Ramp
  • 2 ft. Micro-Mini Ramp
  • 1,600 sq. ft. mini street course (In Development)
  • 5’ Skatelite drop to foam (Must take One Hit Wonder for use) 

Monday - Friday: 1:30pm - 8:00pm; Saturday and Sunday: 9:30am - 8:00pm

The CAGE 

The CAGE not only stocks the sickest gear from both Global companies and our home state local Colorado companies, but has half of the store dedicated to our everyone's favorite Chill out zone. Cruise into the Lounge and relax on our giant love sac bean- bags while you watch the latest shred and ski flicks, play a little PlayStation or Xbox 360, challenge your friends to Ping Pong or Foosball, design your own custom skate deck with Createaskate, play some old school video games in our vintage Arcade, catch on Email or Edit your Footy on our Red Bull IMAC video Editing Bays, Or Skate the Mini 3ft Bowl. Cant Skate? Ask one of the Crew to give you some pointer and I'd be Willing to bet we can get you dropping in in 10 minutes or less.

The Cage is also the location to pick up all your favorite Woodward at Copper t-shirts, beanies, bandanas, hoodies, and more!

 Woodward at Copper has hired a new terrain park manager, Jason George, who is redesigning the look, layout and design of all our terrain parks.  On top of that, Copper Mountain is putting the finishing touches on a new high speed chair lift, The Union Creek High Speed Quad, which will service all the new parks.  As a result of all this change, we thought it fitting to rename our parks "Woodward Terrain Parks."  The park slaying season is here!

22' Super Pipe- Open daily

29 Park- Open Daily

Woodward Central- Open Daily

Large and medium sized features including: jumps, rails, boxes, and wall rides. The park for advanced to expert riders. Click Here to see the Features!

Airbag- Open Daily (weather permitting)

Snow jump to an Airbag landing. The best way to take new tricks from the barn to the snow, or to re-learn old ones. Click Here for more information!
